June 7th & 8th: Maumee State Park, Ohio
After Buffalo we headed west on I-90 aiming for the western tip of Lake Erie and Maumee State Park. Maumee State park is like camping in a bird sanctuary. The sites are well spaced and privacy is not an issure. there are plenty of trails both paved and unpaved for walking. And Nice benches along the Lake Erie shore. On our second day there we headed out to Lowes for some additional camping chairs which have proved to be well worth the slight expense.
