June 16th & 17th Santa Fe New Mexico
Headed out from Eagles Nest Lake State Park Santa Fe Skies RV Park in Santa Fe. As I mentioned in the previous post we did stop in Taos for some shop scouting. In Santa Fe we had a great camping spot at Santa Fe Skies and although the weather was hot there was a pleasant view. On the 17th we traveled to Bandelier National Monument and toured the visitor center and walked a trail to some cliff houses.

| At Santa Fe Skies they had an interesting exhibit of old machines which thrilled all the little kids in the park and also this mechanical engineer! |

After Bandelier we continued our day drive to Los Alamos to visit Elaine's former co-worker at Clark University Library, Mott Linn. We had a nice time catching up with Mott and a nice dinner at the local golf course restaurant. After dinner we bid good bye to Mott forgetting to take a picture and headed back to Santa Fe Skies.
