On the Road again June 4-6: Buffalo, NY

 On the road again, Finally!!  

Worcester to Buffalo, June 4, 2021

Well after 14.5 months of isolation(whose counting!), Elaine and I are on the road again!  Our goal is to head out to Az, Ca, and then loop back along the northern US. Our first stop is our most favorite B&B in Buffalo, NY at Elaine's brother and sister-in law: Gary & Molly's house for three nights.  We had a great rv parking spot right in front of their house. 

Pretty much vegged out except for a great Italian meal out with Joe and Rose Mary Buscaglia, Gary & Molly, and Amanda and a trip to Canal Side in downtown Buffalo.

At Canal Side there are two Navy battleships.  So with the sea coursing through my veins I could not help myself:
                                             Me breaking out in song with two destroyers behind us.

After three nights at Gary & Molly's we headed west on I90 for a camp ground in Ohio along Lake Erie that we had styed at before.

 July 5th, Badlands National Park, Interior, SD Did a relative straight route east from Ten Sleep to the Badlands National Park.  Stayed at the Badlands Interior RV Park.  The drive was very interesting from Ten Sleep to Buffalo, WY as we drove west on route 16 through a very scenic mountain gorge of the Bighorn National Forest.  It looks like a great place to camp if you are ok boondocking(no electric or water).  The views are great and it looks like a great place for mountain climbers.  After Buffalo, it was a straight shot on I-90 to the route 240 exit for the Badlands and the badlands Interior Campground.  That night we had the most intense rain and wind storm so far this trip.  Seems like the winds are very powerful out in the western territories. The next morning we took a short drive into the Badlands and saw some impressive landscapes.  July 12th & 13th, Buffalo, NY Staying with Elaine's brother, Gary, and sister-in-law, Molly for a few days.  Great internet!  Best B&B in Buffalo! Cleaned up the rv before continuing East. June 20th &21st, Desert View Grand Canyon East

 June 20th &21st, Desert View Grand Canyon East We reserved a campsite at Desert View campground for two nights.  It was a boondock with no water or electric hookup.  No problem as my 400 watt solar panels and extra water tank did fine.  The weather was very nice with a balmy 90C in the shade with a nice breeze.
