July 14th, 15th, & 16th: D.A.R State Park; Concord, NH; & Home
From Buffalo we pushed to get to D.A.R. State park in Vermont. We have camped here before and really like the park. It is located on Lake Champlain. We camped there one night and then headed for Concord, NH the next day. On the way we stopped off at LuLu's, a delicious ice cream shop in Vergennes, VT. Also along the way we stopped off at the King Arthur Baking Company in Norwich, Vt. This is a tempting place to have a snack and feast on some substantial bread products. In Concord, we camped for a night before heading home to Worcester. In Concord we got to attend a Little League game that my grandson Luke was playing in.
This was a great post isolation trip. The high points were visiting long time friends and family. And of course touring Arizona with our daughter Fran and her family. We live in a huge country and I ended the trip believing there is room to share it with those who need security and fulfillment.
